RATES
Fees
Consultation fees are charged at a private rate and are payable via EFT on the day of session. An invoice will be issued for medical aid claims where applicable.
Cancellations
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for any appointment changes or cancellations, communicated via email. Cancellations made within less than 24 hours will be charged in full and are not claimable from medical aid.
Medical Aid
Where applicable, sessions may be funded through your medical aid savings or Prescribed Minimum Benefits (PMB). It remains the client’s responsibility to confirm eligibility, benefits, and claims procedures with their medical aid. Please note that PMB coverage is diagnosis-dependent, and eligibility can only be determined following an initial clinical assessment.
PSYCHOLEGAL/
FORENSIC SERVICES
Psycholegal services are provided in the context of medico-legal, forensic, and expert witness work, typically on instruction from attorneys.
Fees are structured according to the nature, scope, and complexity of each matter and may include time spent on record review, clinical interviews, psychometric assessment, report preparation, consultation, and court attendance where required.
A written quotation is provided following receipt of attorney instructions and/or initial case documentation. Retainer agreements and upfront payment terms may apply.
Please note that psycholegal work is billed as specialist consultation and not at standard psychotherapy rates. All fees are time- and service-based and reflect the preparatory work required for expert opinion and potential court testimony.
