FAMILY THERAPY
Family values involve the responsibility towards others and require tolerance, compromise, understanding, growth, support, and immense flexibility. Without all these dynamics at play, families often find themselves feeling 'stuck' in an ineffective pattern of behaviour. Effective communication and understanding is the most valuable skill any family can have.
-
Family therapy involves meeting as a full family so that I can learn and understand the problems as defined by each family member.
-
We work together to unpack any problems and try new ways of communicating and relating to each other, to effect change and stability for all involved.

COUPLES THERAPY
In a relationship, effective and healthy commuication allows for love, trust, passion and companionship to be experienced by those involved. Relationships are dynamic and are impacted and influenced by other areas in life, sometimes these interferences create problems and rob individuals of the rewards of their relationships. Communication might start to change, become distorted and ineffective, when this happens relationships become challenging, frustrating and unsustainable.
-
Each partner will meet individually with me to discuss their needs, concerns or difficulties about the relationship.
-
An agreed treatment plan will be developed at the start of joint sessions.

ONLINE THERAPY
While I prefer to have in-person contact initially to assess and plan this can be discussed further depending on the client. Online sessions are not always indicated and screening is sometimes necessary to determine if online engagement will be suitable.
Online sessions are conducted using Zoom or Google Meet.
